The Goal

To provide safe, affordable, effective early emotional intervention to young people (ages 5 years +).
Catching children before they fall by giving them the nurturing space they need to process difficult emotions and life experiences using gentle drawing and story-telling techniques.
No artistic skills required!

I work closely with parents, carers and SENCOs to identify children who need extra emotional support.
This may include those experiencing:
- anxiety
- low mood
- self-confidence issues
- academic pressure
- trauma
- children affected by a loss of any kind
- bereavement
- a change in life circumstances like divorce, separation, moving schools or country

I am an experienced, advanced Drawing and Talking practitioner with a background in education. I am passionate about the positive impact trusting relationships and meaningful connections can have on children's mental health.
I am also mum to two children and my dog and have direct experience of neurodiversity and the EHCP process.

I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, have an enhanced DBS and am fully insured.
I have qualifications in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health and Mental Health Awareness.
I am committed to ongoing training and supervision.

I am a member of plastic-free Caversham and am always trying to consider ways to reduce my impact on the environment by walking to appointment wherever possible, reducing printing, using recycled paper and recycled pencils and a no-lamination policy!
