School-based activities like drawing, sand play, and group work sessions are designed to promote emotional regulation for children, complementing CAMHS and other specialist therapy programs.
To provide safe, affordable, and effective early emotional intervention to children aged 5 years and above, we focus on nurturing their emotional development. By offering a supportive space in schools, we help young people process difficult emotions and life experiences using gentle drawing and storytelling techniques as part of our therapeutic approach. No artistic skills are required!

This may include those experiencing: anxiety, low mood, self-confidence issues, academic pressure, trauma, children affected by a loss of any kind, bereavement, a change in life circumstances like divorce, separation, moving schools or country, and a new diagnosis. Getting help quickly plays a crucial role in helping these children navigate their challenges.

I am an experienced and advanced Drawing and Talking practitioner with a background in education. I am passionate about the positive impact that trusting relationships and meaningful connections can have on children's mental health. As a mum to two children (and my dog!), I have firsthand experience with the SEN system and the EHCP process. I offer a neuro-affirming approach to therapy sessions. Additionally, I am an accredited practitioner with an enhanced DBS and full insurance. My qualifications include a focus on Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health and Mental Health Awareness. I am dedicated to ongoing training and supervision, evident in my active membership with Drawing & Talking since 2019, which mandates a commitment to continued professional development. *Fun Fact* As a member of plastic-free Caversham, I am continuously seeking ways to reduce my environmental impact by walking to appointments, minimizing printing, using recycled paper, and opting for recycled pencils without laminating.
