To provide safe, affordable, effective early emotional intervention to young people (ages 5 years +).
Catching children before they fall by giving them the nurturing space they need to process difficult emotions and life experiences using gentle drawing and story-telling techniques.
No artistic skills required!
I work closely with parents, carers and SENCOs to identify children who need extra emotional support.

I am an experienced, advanced Drawing and Talking practitioner with a background in education. I am passionate about the positive impact trusting relationships and meaningful connections can have on children's mental health.
I am also mum to two children (and my dog!) and have direct experience of the SEN system and the EHCP process. I of

I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider, have an enhanced DBS and am fully insured.
I have qualifications in Understanding Children and Young People's Mental Health and Mental Health Awareness.
I am committed to ongoing training and supervision reflected in my active membership to Drawing & Talking since 2019 which requires a level of continued CPD .

A member of plastic-free Caversham, I am always trying to consider ways to reduce my impact on the environment by walking to appointments wherever possible, reducing printing, using recycled paper and recycled pencils and a no-lamination policy!
